Welcome to our Home Page

For a view of the International Drill Team Federation (IDTF) Reigning World Motorcycle Precision Drill Team Champions, peruse this site of The Central Florida Precision Motorcycle Drill Team (CFPMDT), it's beginnings, mission, profile,  services, events and photographs.

Our Mission:

Our Mission is to promote the enjoyment and safety of the world of motorcycling through the demonstration of possibilities attainable through proper training, practice and skill development needed to perform the complex and precision drills used by the Team.   We are proud to be the first Motorcycle Drill Team to promote the use of Harley Electra Glides and Honda Goldwing's to perform precision drills in combination.  CFPMDT members work together to promote and unite the biking world as motorcyclists, combining these two distinct brands in harmony.

Team Profile:

Our team consists of Riders, our Demo Team, Trainees and our Team Support Members. Owning and skillfully riding either a Harley Davidson Electra Glide (Classic or Ultra-Classic) or a Honda Goldwing is only one necessary requirement to become a Team Rider.  Trainees are motorcyclists in training learning the skills to master the tight turns and close riding requirements to become a part of the Demo Team.  From there, they will start learning the many maneuvers that make up the routines and start practicing the close proximity riding and timing to ultimately be a RIDER.  RIDER's travel and perform the performance routines and make up the competition team.  The Supporting Members consists of wives and motorcycle riders interested in the Drill Team but who elect not to be a riding member.

Our teams vary from 4 man teams up to a twelve man team, depending on the size of the performance area.  We also provide safety demonstrations, individual rider demonstrations, and an exhibition of a training routine if you're thinking about starting a team. We have full competitive drill routines and love to compete.

Teammates are members of the Goldwing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) and the Harley Owners Group (H.O.G).  Individual members are active in the Motorcycle Riders Education (MRE), the Educational Riders Courses (ERC) - both the Basic Rider Course and the Experienced Rider Courses,  the Motor Safety Foundation (MSF), the Defense Department Motorcycle Course, the International Drill Team Federation (IDTF), the Military Police Rider Course (MPRC - USMC), AND the Christian Motorcyclists Association (C.M.A.).

The Central Florida Precision Motorcycle Drill Team won the 2005 International Drill Team Federation's World Motorcycle Drill Team Championship and remain Current World Motorcycle Drill Team Champions.  The 2005 Motorcycle Jubilee Championship was held on the grounds of the beautiful Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN.  Gregg Fisk, one of our riders, also won First place in the Individual Freestyle Competition.  Gregg has since retired from Drill Team riding.

The years 2008 thru 2010 were difficult years for our team.  One Rider, Joe Brayton, passed from here to Heaven,

having a battle with cancer.  Another Rider and brother of Joe, Bob Brayton continues his battle with pancreatic cancer as well

as rider Larry Derryberry being diagnosed  with Head and Neck cancer in May of 2009.

Having lost his mother and brother only weeks apart inspired Bob to organize the 1st Annual

 Hanky Panky Poker Run

The ride is being held on Saturday, November 6, 2010.
