2008 Event Highlights:
January 13, 2008, Sunday: Cycle World of Daytona : The team met for an informal get- together in our sponsor's parking lot. Nothing formal but we managed to play together for a while with a snow man and a four pack which was added to and made an eight pack. Quite interesting... Our Captain had us run thru a rather unusual figure eight, and when a crowd gathered we actually ran through about 10 or so maneuvers which appeared like a regular performance. Fun was had by all. Thank you ,
February 17, 2008: Biker Sunday - Peace United Methodist Church: THE CENTRAL FLORIDA PRECISION MOTORCYCLE DRILL TEAM performed at the 9 th. Annual Biker Sunday at Peace United Methodist Church. It was a beautiful Florida day and bike's participation was in the hundreds. A very excited crowd surrounded the pad for both our performance and TEAM XTREME stunt bikes. The CFPMDT performed two small pad routines consisting of six riders on each routine. Solo performances were made by John, Reno and Smitty doing things on their bikes 99.9% of motorcycle riders can only dream of doing. A great time was had by all and we look forward to the !0 th. Annual Biker Sunday.

May 8, 9 and 10, 2008: Battlefield Harley Davidson: Gettysburg, PA.: The Central Florida Performance Motorcycle Drill Team performed at another "GREAT" event at Battlefield H-D. Battlefield's reputation is becoming exceedingly well known with their exceptional service and sales departments. This year's event was for the Jessica Lunsford Foundation and included a banquet with guest speaker, Mark Lunsford, a parade thru downtown, a poker run fundraiser and unforgettable hospitality by the Battlefield family. We did three performances and enjoyed each one having our sponsor, Jen, provide her spectacular agility as part of the show. Be sure to stop by the Battlefield Harley Davidson Dealership and tell the hello for us.

Mark actually came home, went to the Honda Dealer and bought a new 2009 Gold Wing. Mark now swings both ways - with a Harley or a Wing! England was GREAT. The Brits welcomed our boys and treated them TOO well. They are having a hard time adjusting to being "just another rider" and the rest of us - wished we could have made the trip.
October 3-5, 2008 : Run to the Heartland- 5th Annual Event in Downtown Sebring. This was a fantastic event this year. It has doubled each year in number of bikers and spectators who have attended the event. Our team had a very busy schedule this year with a performance on Friday night. Four performances on Saturday and one performance on Sunday. We are already scheduled to return next year and are looking forward to it as it is among the most exciting events on our schedule.
November 9, 2008: Bikers on Parade for the U.S.A., Gainesville, Fl.: The CFPMDT performed before the start of the parade and lead the parade beginning after all the sponsors. October 7, 2007 - Daytona Beach, FL, Volusia County Mall: this may be the last of a long run of Motorcycling Events at Volusia County Mall - don't know why, it has always been a worthy event as was this year. Good crowds and lots of action. The "indoor Bike Show" had an interesting array of contestants.
October5-6, 2007 - SEBRING, FL: Run to the Heartland- 4th Annual Event This event is growing by leaps and bounds each year. Bowling Green, Ky., Kentucky District Rally, Kentucky's Bluegrass B last: On August 26, 2006 the Central Florida Motorcycle Drill Team had a performance at the Kentucky Blast. The team traveled from home to Bowling Green Ky. through blazing heat and torrent rain to perform on one of the largest pads we have seen to date. The crowd was great, we ran 3 separate drills and several "special" events for the GWRRA event. Many thanks to the folks we meet and the Host Hotel (Holiday Inn) for a great weekend.
Leesburg Bikefest 2006 again proved to offer one of the most exciting Drill Team shows of the year. The entire Bikefest has nearly double in numbers and quality since it began. There were too many motorcycle drill teams to count this year. Leesburg is know for it's small drill pad, however, there were teams ranging from 6 to 12 motorcycles performing routines. The crowds were entertained by over two hours of demonstrations and maneuvers showing the skill and quality of riders it takes to perform precision motorcycle riding.
Space Coast Harley Davidson is one of Florida's exciting New Harley-Davidson Dealerships. It was quite an honor for the Central Florida Motorcycle Drill Team to be invited to participate in their event. There was a definite preference for H-D's at this event (no fooling!) Our team performed twice, 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM. Those attending the first performance were able to watch Precision Motorcycle Drill Team riding at it's best! Not only was our up-coming solo performer, Mark Owens, on his Ultra-Classic an amazing show, but our primary routine, one of four different routines, an original - not to be performed again! A Space Coast H-H Special. The second performance consisted 3 of our routines plus an individual solo by the 2005 IDTF reigning champion Greg Fisk and perhaps his last as Gregg announced his retirement after his performance.
Luis Palau "The Orlando Festival" at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, FL on April 1 st. and 2 nd. , 2006 was possibly the largest event at which we have performed. The crowds at the festival were in excess of 30,000 folks a day. We performed one show on each day. J.Z. Riders Custom Motorcycles (CFMDT's Main Sponsor) was one of the premiere venders at the festival. The festival was a blessing to thousands, some who also were able to appreciate our performances.
Deland Bike Fest - Saturday , March 4, 2006 was our first for this event. We hope to become a regular as Deland, FL puts it's mark on an excellent Bike Week Event. A long and narrow pad challenged the entire CFMDT squad. The crowds certainly had an up-close-and-personal experience during our exposition. Four routines and and individual exhibition were performed twice during the day. This event is growing by leaps and bounds. Don't miss it next year - we certainly won't!!!
NAS Mayport, FL - Friday , March 3, 2006 was certainly a special event for the Central Florida Motorcycle Drill Team. Security checks on a motorcycle drill team is no small matter. We performed four routines and our man, Gregg Fisk, performed is World Champion Individual Routine. The Police Motor Squad also had demonstrations on bike safety and police motorcycle riding skills.
WoW!!! - The 7 th. ANNUAL BIKER SUNDAY at Peace United Methodist Church was a HUGH success on February 19, 2006. Hundreds of bikers participated in the event along with church members and other interested folks. CFMDT ran 2 successful small pad routines (a 6 bike and an 8 bike), an exercise called "triple circles" involving 6 bikes in three small circles, a newly developed exercise called "offset figure eights" (8 bikes in 4 rectangles) and a currently developing exercise called "rotating 8's" with 4 bikes in 4 squares doing circles and figure 8's. TEAM XTREEM also performed their amazing skills - 3 guys and 4 bikes and a lot of smoking rubber. The Worship services and all the other events combined to make this a major and successful Biker Sunday.
GWRRA 5 - Chapter Breakfast - Hosted by GWRRA FL2-D in Melbourne, Florida is always first on our calendar January 29, 2006. Beautiful weather and fine food complemented our first performance of the year. A very large crowd from various Goldwing Chapters came out to join in the festivities. For our first performance of the year we added a few new exhibitions like the Quad Figure Eight and a demonstration of two bikes playing "chicken" and coming to a complete STOP - front wheel touching front wheel! A real crowd pleaser.
October 30th Biker Sunday Rockledge: The Central Florida Motorcycle Drill Team enjoyed another annual event - Biker Sunday at the Church of the Nazarene. in Rockledge, Fl. A huge crowd came to church services on motorcycles as part of the Sunday's event. Even the Pastor rode up the isle on his own motorcycle. Don't miss this next year. Great food, fellowship, a World Champion Drill Team along with other activities made for a huge success.
The First Annual "Thunder in the Streets" in Sanford, Florida: The streets of Sanford came alive on Saturday October 23 rd. when the official escorted motorcycle parade came to town. This is one OCTOBERFEST event that's here to stay. Thousands of bikers came to visit and participate in the weekend events. 8th Annual International Drill Team Federation World Champion Drill Team Competition: Over Labor Day Weekend, September 2 - 4, 2005 the CFMDT competed and WON the Division 1 Precision Motorcycle Drill Team World Cup held at the 2005 Motorcycle Jubilee. The IDTF Competition was held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel Resort in Nashville, Tennessee.
28th Annual National Bike Roundup in Rockingham "The Rock", North Carolina: On August 6, 2005 the CFMDT experienced the performance of a lifetime. Not only was this the largest Bike Rally (40,000 plus bikers from all around the country, but the largest and most enthusiastic audience we've performed for. We even did the performance on the "ROCK'S" famous drag strip. Gooey track surface and all. We traveled a round trip of 1,084 miles for the pleasure of this performance. A great time was had by all. The "Team" Roadtrek Motorhome and trailer actually parked in the "staging area" of the drag strip. Man, wait 'til our great grand children hear about this! This is a "must do' event for everyone in the future.
Branson, Missouri Motorcycle Rally 2005: Wow - 1,117 miles one way!! The CFMDT arrived after two days of hard riding. Branson is a show town, for those of you who might not know, and this weekend, May 19 - 22, 2005, was Motorcycle Showtime. There were plenty of things to take in, a huge group of vendors, including the "SPAM MOBILE" who provided us a terrific sound system (and snacks), custom bike shows, Extreme Biking (over people and cars), bike games for the "old" and "new" bikers and a lot of Branson in itself. The CFMDT provided exclusive Precision Motorcycle Drill Team performances and exhibitions, two on Friday and Two on Saturday. The drill pad was flat (but tilted) and provided a challenge for us "ole" Florida boys. Crowds were lined up for all four performances and provided "ooh's and ah's" as we performed several different routines each morning and afternoon. We had a great time and look forward to Branson next year.
